About Us

Judith Estrella is a veteran of the yacht-charter market. In fact, she was practically born into the business as her family ran a well-established brokerage firm. Judith, and partner Joan Farell, set up Charter and Dreams at a time when the Spanish charter market had not yet reached its potential. When business started to soar, Judith already had the contacts and expertise to successfully cater to both owners looking to put their yacht on the market and sailing aficionados seeking the ultimate charter experience. Fast forward nine years and the yachts she manages boast the busiest agendas in the Mediterranean.

Knowing exactly which questions to ask and the market inside out, is yet another ace up Judith’s sleeve, one that ensures yacht owners benefit from charters in a way that suits their wishes and guests have the yachting holiday of their dreams.

When she isn’t working, you’ll find Judith in her dive gear, 25m under water and perhaps face-to-face with a ten kilo grouper or abroad, combing the four corners of the world for the best charter destinations.

Who would’ve thought that a born and bred Barcelonian and business-studies graduate would become an Ibiza-based authority on the sale and charter of luxury yachts? After his studies, Joan commenced his career working for a well-known multinational. He started as the youngest salesman and worked his way up through the company to become Co- Director sales manager. This is hardly surprising, though –Joan set multiple sales records during his 14 years at the company.

Joan’s passion for yachting started when he chartered a yacht in Ibiza with some friends in 2007. He continued to spend more and more time around yachts and eventually founded Charter & Dreams (together with Judith Estrella) a few years later, and has never looked back.

Joan’s outgoing personality and inquisitive nature not only mean that he’s a pleasure to do business with but also that he’s well informed on the latest industry trends and developments.

Joan is a sports lover and as a person who likes learning something new every day -an avid reader.

Laura is our Marketing Director. She has always been passionate about luxury, travel... and of course, luxury yachts!

Creative, detail-oriented and always looking for perfection and new ideas, she manages our Marketing campaigns and also creates the content for Social Media and Newsletters.

Laura is half German and half Spanish, and she has lived in Spain, Germany, Brazil and France. She studied Business Administration in Paris and has more than 15 years of experience in Marketing and Communication in multinational companies.

When she's not working, you'll find Laura out at sea on her Paddle Surf board, exploring paradisiacal coves and beaches.

Laura speaks fluent Spanish, German, English and French.

Xavier, our Operations & IT Director, is a true guru in the yachting industry. Before joining Charter&Dreams, he worked for more than 15 years in the world's largest internet yacht brokerage portals, leading sales teams in Europe.

With his extensive experience and know-how, Xavier is the perfect addition to accompany and drive the growth of Charter&Dreams.

Professional, dynamic and empathetic, Xavier has always had a fascination for technology, and has been an early adopter since he was a child.

He loves dealing with people and psychology, which is why he studied it before starting his adventure in the yachting world.

Xavier is also a big fan of sports, especially cycling, skiing, yoga, meditation, cinema and travelling - especially to Asia.

Xavier speaks fluent Spanish, Catalan and English.

Ramona is our Broker in Mallorca. With her great empathy, she is passionate about making our clients happy by helping them plan a dream yacht charter. As a born perfectionist, she likes order, efficiency and transparency.

With a degree in aeronautical engineering, Ramona fell in love with the world of yachting and has worked for several years in the sector as Project Manager for large yachts. 

She is passionate about art, travelling to exotic cities and places, classical literature and philosophy.

Ramona speaks Spanish, German, English, Catalan and Romanian.

Responsible, detailed and self-demanding, our Charter Broker Isabel Sánchez manages charters in Ibiza. Isabel has always had a special connection with the sea, the yachting industry and people, so it was obvious that she would work in what is her passion. Isabel also loves to go on different routes around the island of Ibiza and discover places that not everyone knows about.
Also, when she is not working, she enjoys travelling and getting to know different cultures.

Vicky is our yacht broker based in Mallorca. She has lived in many countries growing up, but settled in Mallorca after studying Product Design Engineering at university.
She fell in love with the sea at a young age when she pursued her hobby in sailing. Vicky even ended up working a season on a stunning Abeking&Ramussen 34m sailing yacht. Since then, Vicky has spent the last two years finding the ideal yachts for her clients to experience first-class holidays and to create the finest memories.

Vicky is either perfecting the best yacht for your holiday or enjoying her time in the outdoors. This either being travelling, photography or painting.
She is native English but is also advancing her Spanish language.

As our Accounting Director, Rafa leads all areas of: administration, accounting, finance, management control, process digitalisation and Business Intelligence. With more than 10 years of experience in the leisure sector, he has developed transversally in different business models from hotels to airlines, always aiming to improve the operational and financial performance of the projects he takes on, which has taken him to different parts of the world, from the ever young Balearic Islands to the wonderful India.

He likes to define himself as an affable person, smiling and very dedicated to his company and colleagues, as well as a born explorer. He is passionate about mountain sports, mainly mountain biking and trekking, he also loves theatre, travelling, reading and history.
